Rakuten STAY Kokura Station
8.6/5124 Reviews
First of all, it's a 5-minute walk from Kokura Station when you don't have luggage, and a 10-minute walk when you do, so it's a little slow. This time, 3 people used one room, and the room was very spacious and the bathroom was also spacious and nice, including the bathtub! The bedding and other things were okay, but there was a small balloon left under the bed for some reason. And one inconvenient thing is that we used it for 3 nights and 4 days this time, and when we asked for a towel change using the check-in tablet, they said that they would only change it once per 4 nights, and they said that they wouldn't change it. There's a coin laundry on the first floor, so you can wash your towels there and dry them, or take your own! Or, when you see the cleaning staff walking around the hallway, ask them to change them for you. They'll change them anyway! Other than that, it was okay.

Size of the room is good enough for a family. Convenient location to have family mark, local restaurants and pharmacy around. Keyless room door access is amazing, I don’t have to worry my key card while going out. But we have difficulty to get into the main entrance without any password on our 1st day arrival. It made us sooo confusing that there has no front desk. Still wondering why I didn’t receive any email or msg before the check in date. Luckily one of the Japanese couple help us to solve while they passed by. A bit strange but never expected I have to pay extra 200yen per person before check in from a machine. Still don’t understand why we don’t have any notice before booking but on arrival. Wish all that can help the hotel to improve better in future.

spacious for 4 adults as there are 3 queen beds. still lots of space for us to keep luggages opened up throughout the stay. shower water pressure was good, there's heating for the toilet and kitchen sink as well. about 5-10 mins walk to Hakata station. free parking available even though it's first come first serve, but we didn't have trouble getting a parking lot throughout our stay. it's an unmanned hotel so check in/out is just using the tablet and self service. the only slight complain i have is that we booked for 14 nights so they should have planned for it and provided enough supplies (body soap, shampoo, garbage bag, tissues). however, i was able to get refills by emailing them. not sure how to use the tablet in the room to contact them, interface seems cumbersome.

I am so satisfied! Self-check-in was a little difficult ㅠㅜ My friend and I used a translator but I didn't understand what was being said until a solo traveler showed me how to open the main door? using gestures, and I was able to enter the room. Other than that, there was no inconvenience at all and it was so nice👍 I thought this is what it would be like to live in a Japanese apartment(?) villa, and it was a different experience! I want to use it again next time!

The hotel is close to the Fukuoka subway, and you can reach the commercial district in 10 minutes. There are also night stalls. The hotel is clean and hygienic, with plenty of space and convenient self-service check-in

The hotel condition is good. It's unmanned!!!! It's unmanned!!! There's no one. Just do as the hotel tells you via email and check in It won't be difficult,, use the email you use most often The size is perfect for staying alone!! I asked because the TV wasn't working but they didn't help because it was an email exchangeㅜㅠㅠ I wanted to watch Japanese broadcasts, but I couldn't get the TV signal so I couldn't watch anything Other than that, it's really good. It's not far from Tenjin Station Especially!!! If you're going to use Char Char, you really have to do it here There's a bicycle space in the hotel, so you can ride a lot and don't need to worry It's so much fun to ride a bicycle ㅎㅎ The room is also good and there's a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom All you need to bring is something to wash your face,,? Somehow, there is one more blanket besides the one already laid out. There are 4 more pillows. It would be okay for two people to stay, but it might be a little cramped. Not a bed. It is an apartment-style, so there are 3 on each floor. You have to enter a password every time you go in, so it's annoying. There is no noise, it's clean, and it's quiet. It's in an alley?, so it's a little scary to walk around at night, but go there by bike~~~. I couldn't take a picture, so here's one in the alley on the way to the accommodation.

In conclusion, it was the best accommodation for this trip, but there were several issues. Obviously, there is a luggage storage service in the accommodation service, but when I arrived, it was operated unmanned and I couldn't get any service. It's ridiculous to start your journey with your luggage. And there was an issue in my room where the door lock didn't work, and I was able to solve this problem in an hour through a conversation with the manager. (The door wasn't closed tight, so I had to push it with strength.) The room was in the best condition and everything in the bathroom and toilet was good. There were some inconveniences, but I told the master well and said that he would fix it, so I think it will be a better hotel.

Value for money! Especially very good for Family of 4 pax to stay together. Just need to walk within 10 mins can reach 博多車站 shopping and dining centre! The room is spacious with a dining and sitting area. Clean, just a bit dusty in area near window. Washroom and bathroom is very clean and spacious. With all necessary amenities. Without staff for check in, better read clearly their email Instruction and do pre-registration, then will be no worry. Take taxi from airport there just under yen2000 and within 10 mins. Will stay here in the future.

Thanks to netizens for their comments and reminders. I will contribute a little bit. Because I got on the wrong expressway that night, I should have arrived at 10 o'clock on the left... I called him immediately to talk to him. It turns out that there is no need to go there at all. You can just check in by yourself using the door password and reservation number on the left 😂 It’s so convenient~ Check-out is also done by pressing the room pad 👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel is located across the street and has both GPS and 👌🏻 In addition, there are three parking spaces downstairs in the hotel, and there are many hourly rentals nearby. Shop D in Mojiko has to close early, but luckily there is a Lawson 5 minutes away🤪
