The balcony and breakfast were all great. So was the lounge area. However, there are no mosquito screens inside the room and throughout the hotel. A few flies were also inside the room. It was also very dark. The air conditioning didn’t work well. The cleaning could be much better. The staff was kind and the breakfast ends at 10:30, much later than some other places. No late checkout. The kitchen was nice but we didn’t use it. There was also a microwave. The area is very quiet and nice. Across from a courtyard where students seem to rest. The bed was comfortable and the storage was more than enough. The bathroom was great. It’s much quieter area here than in central Rome still close enough to be very walkable. A few restaurants around close late. Felt safe at night. Internet great. Staff very helpful and kind. Vatican and Castel both right there. Bridge as well. À carrefour supermarket around the corner as well as a place to buy bus tickets. Luggage storage great. The elevator is very small and doesn’t go up unless from the ground floor.

Nice terasse. There is much less space than compared to photos. We were bitten by ants. There are a lot of them on the 1st floor. There are only 2 chairs for 3 people. The sofa on the 1st floor is very bad and dirty - it creaks and collapses under the body. Instead of a normal duvet cover, the duvet is wrapped in 2 sheets. All the walls are covered in black scratches. There are air conditioners on both floors. Do not forget to buy washing detergent for washing machine. There are no towel hooks and no shelves in the bathroom. These apartments do not correspond to 4 stars.

The winding stone slabs up and down the slope had already consumed a lot of patience, but all the dissatisfaction was instantly smoothed out the moment I entered the room. It has been a long time since I saw such a generous bed size in Europe, and the bathroom was also superb. My friend and I were very satisfied! It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the fountain? The transportation is very convenient. Next time I come to Rome, I will choose this hotel as my first choice!
Vino e Oli Residenze

I stayed here because my main trip was to the Vatican. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the Vatican. There are multiple exits at the Ottaviano metro station, so it's hard to know which way to go to get to your accommodation, so a smartphone navigation system is essential. There are also many cafes and trattorias in the area. The room is in the historical area of Rome, so it's old, but it's been renovated and the bathroom is cleaned every few days, so it doesn't feel dirty. I think it's to save water, but the shower is very weak, so I think it's inconvenient for women. It takes a long time to finally wash my whole body. The water comes out of the sink with force, but the faucet is fixed for a long time and cannot be moved, so it gets in the way when washing your face, and if you move your face away, the water spills out of the sink. The toilet water button is hard, but it flows properly. The amenities are only shampoo, body shampoo, body cream, and solid soap in small bottles, and there is no toothbrush cup. I recommend bringing a cup. There is no bathtub, only a shower. I think it's a relatively safe place, but the windows and doors have no soundproofing, so you can hear the surrounding noises well. I wore earplugs when I went to sleep at night because I could hear a lot of noise from the rooms above and below, as well as from the hallway. Thanks to that, I was able to sleep soundly. The price is comparable to a 5-star hotel in Rome, but considering the size, location, and convenience suitable for a family trip, it was a satisfying stay. I would like to use it again. The elevator is like something you see in a movie (although it is very small) and worth seeing. Just one thing... I was charged 30€ for cleaning before my stay, which was not listed in the price. It was different from the price at the time of booking, and it was not clearly stated anywhere that a cleaning fee would be charged, so I was confused, but I thought it was a Roman way of doing things, so I paid it without complaining, thinking of it as a tip.

I stayed there for four nights and the hotel staff are very kind and nice. They have laundry services as well (€2 for washing and €2 for drying). However, they knocked on our room door at 9:30am for two days. One day, they said that they would like to clean our room, but we were still sleeping, isn’t that too early? For the last morning, they knocked our door again and saying that they would like to fix something in the toilet, but we are checking out at 10:30, can’t they just wait for an hour? So if you are not an early bird or you won’t be leaving your hotel before 9:30 am, I don’t recommend you to stay here as they will wake you every morning.

The hotel provides a simple breakfast including bread, ham, milk, etc. Even if you do not book a room with breakfast included, you will still get breakfast. The bathroom is pitch black and I don't like the decoration style. In addition, this hotel has a problem: when you check in, you will be told that the room you booked is no longer available due to system problems. You will be upgraded to a new room type, but you will find that the upgraded room type is not as good as the one you booked. The hotel said they can't do anything because it is a system error, so you can only accept their arrangement.

This is a simple family hotel with three rooms. Located in a residential area, very quiet. The house I live in is not big and the bathroom is spacious enough. The common living room has a kettle for making tea and a coffee machine for use. The receptionist gives you four keys to enter the courtyard, building, suite, and room. He hands you a map of Rome and introduces the attractions and subway before leaving. The biggest advantage is that it is 500 meters away from the Vatican Museum, 400 meters away from the subway station, and there are many restaurants. That means you have to contact the hotel in advance, otherwise you won’t be able to find it and won’t be able to get in. The breakfast at the hotel was uninteresting.

Perfect location for city travellers - key touristic spots are accessible just by walking. For Night time quite Safe as the area is nearby some government buildings (police officers seen nearby). Only one downside during my stay was renovation ongoing next door though it starts 8:00am in the morning, so still kinda acceptable as we’re up and ready for the day. I want to come back and stay at this apartment if I visit Rome again.
