Whether it was enjoying a leisurely stroll through nearby parks or experiencing the vibrant local cuisine, Athens Downtown Residences served as the perfect home base for my dual-purpose trip.

First of all I want to thank the managment and all the staff of the K29 Athenaeum Hotel for which I consider one of the best accomodation which me and my wife have truly enjoyed. We stayed at the hotel for a total of 12 days and I truly say that the service and dedication provided by the staff was great. We surely enjoyed the breakfast on the 7th floor with a side to side verandah and a fanastic view of the acropolis etc. The brekfast itself was tasty and very delicious and fresh with lots of items to choose from. And a big thank you to the waitress and receptionist who served us always with that sincere smile which shows that the greeks are great at heart. Long time ago I worked on a cruise ship as musician with Epirotiki Lines, the best years of my life. Returning to Greece after so much years proved that these people remain sincere, hard working and they show great respect. The room we had was great, with a large size bathroom and kitchenette which served us to the utmost. It was always cleaned with clean towels, etc. Contrary to what others wrote, the area is completely safe, only during the night like other countries one has to take drastic measures to avoid some narrow side streets, due to the fact that Athens has alot of foreigners and drug abuse is visible in some areas. I made a reservation in mainland China for my daughter who is in Germany and going to Greece. It is a hotel apartment near Athens Airport, about 8 kilometers away. The room is large and clean. Because I had an early flight at 6 a.m. the next day and didn't want to go to the city of Athens, I booked it that night. The landlord is very nice and amiable. If you contact her 15 minutes before arriving at the store, you can check in at the apartment. When you are alone in a foreign country, when you are not familiar with the place, when you don’t understand the language well, or when the plane is delayed, you have to go. Living near Athens Airport really gives me a sense of security and landing. The landlady also helped arrange a taxi to Athens Airport at 4:30 the next morning, which was ultimately delivered by the landlady herself. grateful! I would also like to thank Ctrip’s after-sales service staff, who helped with a lot of confirmation, coordination and service between 12:00 and 1:00 late at night, mainland time. The location is excellent, on a main street facing Charter Square, not far from the Acropolis and other attractions, as well as other museums, and the transportation is convenient. The service staff is also very professional. The room is larger and more spacious than the average European hotel. It is located in a commercial and residential building, and several floors have been renovated. If you arrive after get off work at night, you must get the access code in advance, otherwise you cannot enter the building. In addition, it is facing the street, so it is a bit noisy.

Our family of 3 stayed here in 2 different room type as we went to Santorini in between. The property provides lockers for storage which works well for us since this is our last stop after a 2+ weeks vacation. Do not be deceived by the neighborhood , it may not be the most prime and squeaky clean area but we do feel safe during our stay. It is probably about 10-12 mins walk to the center of Athens and Acropolis. On the day of check in , they will send you an access code to the property and the assigned room. We were in #31 first , and #22 after our return from Santorini. The first unit was bigger and fits 3 of us and our big luggages perfectly. However , the bathroom basin area is a tad too small to accommodate the needed necessities for our daily use. The unit is also relatively quiet and allow us to sleep well at night. The second unit is slightly smaller so accommodating 3 big luggages is a problem. However , it comes with a larger space in the bathroom and basin top which allows us to put all our daily essentials. What is disturbing is the noise in this unit due to the layout and orientation. Whenever a car sped pass , the window grille vibrates and generate a lot of noise. The situation worsen at night when activities slow down. We highlighted this to the property manager (Ms Mahdi) who was very helpful but she could only offer to swap a similar unit on the upper floor for us which we thought may not help much. We thus have to endure our last 2 nights in Athens without much peaceful sleep. What I thought was missing and could be helpful is to install a safe box in every unit for the convenience of the guests. There is no washer/dryer in the units but laundromats are available in the vicinity. Kitchen utensils and cooking facilities are sufficient for some light cooking. Overall , we are satisfied with our stay at this relatively new property which offers a good value for small family. Thank you Mahdi and the staff at the property.

This was our first visit to Lux & Easy and it was a fantastic experience throughout. Location is excellent to get around Athens with a Metro and Tram stop a mere 5 minute walk from the accommodation and only 3 stops to Syntagma, 2 to Acropolis - location is a real hit. Amenities around are a few local mini markets, a few coffee outlets, bakeries etc - I’d recommend looking at google earth for a street view of your surroundings as if you’re explorers and what to venture out its great. If you want everything on your doorstep then I’d recommend elsewhere. The accommodation is superb. We were in room 61 which was set over two floors and had a hot tub on the balcony. As a family of four there was ample space, two bathrooms and a huge comfy bed for us to sleep on and the upstairs bedroom balcony had great views over the city. The rooms are in a two by two format over 6 floors so i believe there is only 12 rooms here - and this reflected in the quiet nature of the property. Would highly recommend!

Perfect easy location. They have their own shuttle service to take you to the apartment. Clean brand new easy to get in. Would recommend to anyone travelling needing somewhere to stay overnight.

Very satisfied, clean and cheap, away from the tourist area, but it is very convenient to take the subway directly. It is a place where locals live and experience the life of locals. Downstairs is a small commercial street, restaurant bakery coffee supermarket electronic products, etc., life is very convenient. For leisure travel, go out and cross the road without turning, walk to Line 3, it is very fresh, so it is very comfortable to walk without feeling tired. Because I ran smoothly, I lived for another day.

But the location is great - it is only 2 blocks from the metro, making it convenient to everything by metro. Apartment is super modern and great. The response time from the Lux&Easy team is amazing - and they were always so helpful. They r the best. The apartment is in a local neighborhood, people walking dogs, people going to work, others walking to market. Nice balcony to watch it all. Nice!

The cleaning level is impecable, with all renovated; the bedroom, perhaps the best quality in which you have sleeped during the last trips; spectacular shower with three types of screw and a set of quality courtesy in the bathroom (champu, shower gel and shoes); from my room on the sixth floor had direct views of Licabeto and Partenón ... The receptionist, Katarina, incredibly professional and friendly, with an incredible level of English. I would also like to point out that the area is not at all problematic as other readers have pointed out, at least for me: it is not much less than the Raval of Barcelona and, at the trat**** of quite broad streets, I found minimal sensation insecurity; it is also in a very practical area from which you can access the center (Sintagma, Monastiraki, Acropolis ...) walk without any problem: it's a 20-minute walk as much as I personally find very pleasant. It is also very close to the Larissa train station, from which you can access the airport directly with very frequent trains.All right, excellent: ¡ja I'm willing to return and I recommend it 100%!

The small apartment is not large, but it has all the necessary facilities. The curly guy is very helpful and introduced many attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. in Athens. The location is very good (just on the street on the left in the picture). Popular You can basically walk to all the scenic spots.

這家民宿我們非常滿意，衹要你能和工作人員正常的電話溝通拿到房間密碼，一切就很好了，特別是衹是在雅典轉機調整休一天的，不去雅典市區旅遊的，住這超級爽，物價不貴，還住在海邊。可以在海邊打打卡，有幾家餐廳味道不錯。購買一些物品也很實惠

We arrivwd late at night. Due to communication with the owner we found the place pretty fast and managed to get in, as mentioned - with the guidance files sent to us by the owner. The place is very pleasent, it was a very quiet night. The shower worked good and the aircondition was quiet, too. The one and only thing we missed was - a complementry bottle of water (since we know you shouldn't drink tap water in Greece, in most cases). But since this is the only fault found - I hivhly rcommend the place!

We had a bit of a story, the taxi driver took us from the airport to a 35 min drive to an area called Spetson in another location. He didn’t read the address carefully ((. In fact the hotel is conveniently located at 15-17 min from the airport. Has many coffe shops in the area. We liked the Coava rock cafe bar for evening relaxing drink. Didn’t take pictures of the room, but it was clean, had air conditioner, hot water, and all that you require for a short stay.

Had a great 1 night stay here in transit to/from the airport. Host was very responsive and helpful setting up airport transfers. For both our airport pickup and drop-off he was prompt and on time. The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was cold water in the fridge when we arrived which was appreciated. We used the shared kitchen and living area for dinner which was nice. Highly recommend staying here for both short and long term stays.

Just 20 minutes from Athens airport. Book in advance and get picked up and taken back to the airport for 25 Euros each way. I had an apartment at the back with private balcony overlooking greenery. It was big enough for 1 or 2 and very clean and modern. Waterfront and Taverna just at the end of the street. Beach close by. Walk to the main road past the petrol station for low cost genuine greek food. Or try the taverna near the apartment for top quality seafood. In a quiet part of Athens by the sea. Highly recommended.
