Apartments in Saxony, Germany

We stayed at Felix in June 10-13, 2023. We had never been to Europe before so we were unsure how to navigate Germany at first. We took a taxi from the airport, it worked well, but now we know we could have easily taken the S5 or S5X to get there. The apartment was lovely with a firm but comfortable bed. There was a large TV and we hooked up our firestick. There was a fabulous view of the university and we were directly across from the opera house. It was easy walking distance to the city center and Bachfest venues. There was an Edeka grocery store around the corner. It had many American snacks as well. We bought eggs and produce there. It was really convenient! There was a long bench under the window which was great for laying out all our things! The kitchenette had a small fridge, two burners, and a microwave. The bathroom had a bunch of shelves for all our stuff, which we used. The shampoo/body wash smelled so good. The shower has a hand held portion and was roomy for two. We used the communal laundry room while we were there. It was set up to use the WeWash App and we found it easy to use. Overall this property was perfect for our stay.

In the context of a concert visit we have been allowed to stay here one night. Check Inn was running uncomplicated and quickly. The room was clean and ordened, well maintained. Beds were comfortable and in the bathroom no trace of the predecessor. The volume of the hall was only easy to hear. Breakfast was very good for the price, greatly arranged, rich and the service very prevalent. All in all a good option. The hotel itself and the rooms have come into the year something do not break down the night. With regard to the loading stations in the parking house, it should be said that it has not worked login via the app. The app did not recognize the QR codes. However, the loading columns have recognized a RFID reader so the common cards. If you have luck and no burner parked there, you could also load your car overnight. Unfortunately, this is not clearly indicated.

Hotel location is very good, next to the Grand Palace. You can even see the hotel in the Grand Palace. You can walk to all the attractions. This trip to 9 cities for 22 days, the most expected is Dresden. The world's most beautiful baroque buildings are here. The city that used to be in East Germany, because it was dark, there was a feeling of the domestic 80s before arriving in the city. After dawn, the hotel was still amazing. The buildings are very magnificent, and it is quite different to change the traditional Gothic style. The hotel room is very crowded and can open a box when there is a sofa bed. The place is small and can't get down. The hotel and other hotels share an elevator, and the front desk is on the sixth floor. The room is very far from the elevator, and you have to walk through the corridor to get to the room. There is no problem with the facilities themselves and the staff is very good. Maybe I will stay next time, but I will definitely note the room near the elevator.

Wir suchten ein Hotel mit Wellness. Der Empfang war in Ordnung. Anfangs mußten wir feststellen, das Wellness und Frühstück extra berechnet werden. Unterschiede gibt es zwischen Radisson Blu Park Hotel und Cityhotel. Bei der Buchung fanden wir keine Möglichkeit im Hotel anzurufen um näheres zu erfahren. Auf den Zimmern waren wir dann etwas ernüchtert. Die Zimmer wirkten altbacken und ungepflegt. Die Betten knarrten, die Tische und Bords wiesen reichlich Wasserflecken auf. Die Sofas sind durchgesessen und inzwischen unbequem. Die Zahnputzbecher waren nicht ordentlich gereinigt. Das Frühstücksangebot war vielfältig. Die KellnerInnen sehr freundlich und bemüht uns das Frühstück angenehm zu machen. Danke dafür. Der Wellnessbereich gefiel uns gut und war sauber. Zwei mal konnten wir nicht ins Hamam (Sauna), weil Einzelbehandlungen stattfanden. Kurzfristige Massage konnten wir nicht buchen. Wie gesagt, wir wollten Wellness.

Das Apartment ist auf jeden Fall seinen Preis wert, ich buchte allerdings weit im voraus, und das im März, also Nebensaison, wo es wirklich sehr günstig war, immerhin hat es Küche und einen großen Balkon Richtung ruhigem Innenhof. Es gibt allerdings keine Rezeption, man erhält eine halbe Stunde vor der Eincheckzeit (15.00 Uhr) per Email Codes und eine Anleitung, die schlicht kompliziert ist. Dann stellte sich raus, dass die Hausnummer nicht stimmte (der Komplex Wallstraße hat mehrere Hauseingänge, in denen sich Limehome-Apartments befinden). Und dann ließ sich der Hauseingang mit den angegebenen Nummern nicht öffnen. Nach Wartezeit erreichte ich Limehome telefonisch, mir wurde gesagt, ich solle die Tür nach dem Piepston ziehen, aber es gab keinen Piepston, offenbar kaputt. Irgendwann gelang es mir, zu öffnen (diese Probleme begleiteten mich vier Tage lang), dann stimmte der Code für die Apartmenttür im 5. Stock nicht. Am Telefon wurde mir schließlich ein neuer Code gegeben, mit dem ich die Tür öffnen konnte. Dann kriegt man den nächsten Code, mit dem die Tür ab diesem Zeitpunkt aufgeht. Geht's noch komplizierter? Ich habe in den Tagen darauf mehrere verzweifelte Gäste am Gang telefonieren gehört, die teils überhaupt nicht in ihr Zimmer kamen. Apartment ist zwar groß, aber unpraktisch eingerichtet. Winziger Sofatisch, sehr wenig Platz im Bad, Mini-Nachttisch und keine TV-Programmübersicht (tatsächlich gab es nur ganz wenige funktionierende Programme). Große Küche mit Kaffeeautomat. Für mich am schlimmsten: Es gibt keine Heizkörper, offenbar gibt es eine Bodenheizung, man kann nur den AC-Schalter auf die höchste Stufe stellen. Das nützt wenig, es war in den vier Tagen winterlich kalt in Dresden, ich habe im Apartment gefroren, vor allem, weil ich wegen des Wettes dort viel Zeit verbringen musste. Lage, wie erwähnt, dafür perfekt, 5 Gehminuten zum Zwinger, also zur Altstadt, zwei Supermärkte im Gebäudekomplex, Cafés (laut, kalt und unfreundlich) in der Nähe. Straßenbahnhaltestelle vor dem Gebäude, nur wenige Minuten Fahrt zum Hauptbahnhof.

Yes, the room is big, two rooms. There are kitchen cabinets and consoles, but not cooking. The price is very high, the bus station is opposite the hotel, there are supermarkets, gas stations, bakery nearby... life is very convenient. The Townhouse Leipzig was one of our favorite hotels on our recent Germany and Austria vacation. Set in the heart of Leipzig within one of the oldest Rennaissance buildings in the city, the Townhouse is next door to the Bach Museum and steps away from Thomaskirche and the iconic statue of the great composer. Our top-floor room looked directly out on Thomaskirche and the Bach statue. Upon entering the hotel for the first time, we were impressed by the beautiful style and creativity of the unique decor and lighting, the charming furnishings, and the friendliness of the staff. Our spacious suite was spotless, had a kitchenette, comfortable couches, a nice flat-screen television, a large modern bathroom, quality linens and pillows, and a warm, welcoming message from the staff. Above the king bed was a large reproduction of one of Bach's cantata manuscripts. The windows opened up onto a stunning view of Thomaskirche and the surrounding city. The Townhouse Leipzig offers free high-speed Wi-Fi, a laundry service, a fitness area with workout equipment, a sauna, and a library! The restaurant provides excellent buffet breakfasts. We found several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance, including Johann S Restaurant & Bar a few steps from the hotel. The front desk staff were so helpful assisting us throughout our stay, looking up museum times and tram routes and schedules for us. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The price was surprisingly affordable, given the location and the quality of hotel, and the surrounding area was quiet at night. We loved being wakened by the Thomaskirche bells in the morning. The one minor inconvenience is the lack of on-site parking—not surprising given the unique location—but they offer a convenient unloading and loading area for luggage, and we found easy parking adjacent to Thomaskirche a two-minute walk from the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent boutique hotel to anyone visiting the city center, and if you're in Leipzig on a Bach pilgrimage and need a great place to stay, look no further.

Very centrally located in the city centre. A few minutes walk to the zoo, railway station and to many attractions. Shopping opportunities and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nicely furnished and have a good size. However, I have to deduct a few points for the cleanliness. Eating residues on the dish as well as cook residues on the kitchen line. Unfortunately, there were also div in the bathroom. For example, points to be clearly seen at the door.

This property is in a great location in central Leipzig. An easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. Apartment was massive, modern, secure and very clean. No air conditioning though and we stayed in middle of summer - the room was very hot even with the plug in fan provided we were a little too warm. Also getting the access to the room is a little complicated but once we managed to get the information about how to check in (is all online), it was good. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again.

This hotel is a scam and now reading other reviews, my partner with a disability and I are in absolute shock of how many other people who have booked have lost all their money. This is a SCAM. To the owner: please do not reply and tell us we broke Covid rules and the police are searching for us as we haven’t broken any laws, you have. We are shocked that this ‘business’ still runs after how many people YOU have shamefully ripped off and it’s very sad and embarrassing for you (yes I’m talking to you.) My boyfriend and I have travelled all the way from Australia. YES the policy stated no refund, and YES you did state of ridiculous your hours are. But we tried to ask if we could come a day later (we booked 3 nights initially) and our request was declined. No compensation or assistance. The reason why we couldn’t check in that tiny gap between 4pm-7pm is because we weren’t able to fit onto our train and we weren’t able to get special needs assistance. Now him and I are stranded. Super experience! Location, can’t be better, facing the church, get full vision of the street, particularly in the morning when the streets are still quiet and empty. All the highlights are all walking distance. Lots of options of restaurants in the area; Facility is clean and well maintained, and everything you need is can be found in the room. Suitable for family travel with children as well. We found it very comfortable in the room, and we slept very well. Once the window is closed, you won’t be bothered by the outside sound. The city is very nice, we are very glad that we spent one night here in such a great place.

Everything was perfekt, I loved the high quality of the apartment… And I talked with the really friendly caretaker of the house, he is a really good guy It was good that there were two toilets and one bath, I enjoyed a good bath in the morning The lokation is also perfekt because you can get everywhere you want in just minutes

Very comfortable apartment (room number 5.16) with separate bedroom (with door), kitchen,bathroom and living-room(with door) with double sleeping-sofa right on the cosiest,most beautiful historic marketplace with a view of the Frauenkirche (from the living-room). 2 TVs with a lot of different channels, a tuner,water cooker... Copious and delicious breakfast buffet in the beautiful hotel Suitess just round the corner .Friendly, helpful staff at both the Apartmenthotels (round the other corner) and Suitess receptions . Comfortabel appartement (nummer 5.16) met separate slaapkamer,keukentje,badkamer en grote woonkamer met een uitklapbare sofa tot dubbel bed. Gelegen op de mooiste, gezelligste marktplaats vlak tegenover de Frauenkirche (zicht vanuit de woonkamer). Twee TV's met heel wat channels, een tuner, leesboeken,...Ontbijtbuffet in mooie hotel Suitess om de hoek: zeer ruime keuze en lekker. Vriendelijk , personeel , zowel in hotel Suitess als in de eigen receptie (om de andere hoek) Minpunten · Because of construction works facing the hotel at the back (bed room) it can be a bit noisy starting early round 7.30 am. Some light peeping through at the sides of the curtains.So, take your ear-plugs and sleep mask if you're a light sleeper. Towel change (and cleaning) only once a week (on Wednesday in a stay from Sunday to Sunday) A big dressing mirror would be handy.Only 1 wardrobe for the whole apartment could be little for a family. Bouwwerken tegenover het hotel aan de achterkant (slaapkamerzijde) starten al rond 7.30 en er komt wat licht door aan de zijkanten van de gordijnen.Dus voor lichte slapers: neem je oordopjes en slaapmasker mee. De handdoeken werden gedurende ons verblijf van 1 week slechts éénmaal gewisseld (en het was warm weer!).Er ontbrak een grotere kledingspiegelSlechts 1 kleerkastje voor het hele apartement.

We were three nights in this accommodation. We booked room S, so the ”minimum”. It was really very big, the ceiling height was imponant and the small but fine balcony in the garden very convincing. The whole house is accessible with a keycard. Even every floor is individual so secure. The kitchen line was very practical, even though we haven't really cooked now. At foot you are in 10min in the center. From the airport there is a direct S-Bahn connection in 15min to the train station in the middle, From there you are in 5 minutes to fauss in the hotel. Price/performance is really top. The only thing that really disturbed us was in a night completely ignorant party gangsters who thought about 2h they would still have to sweep a private party in the backyard (Of course they were drunk and of course the hotel cannot afford much, so still 5 points).

The hotel is located next to the Frauenkirche in Dresden. There are many attractions around it. There is a square outside the living room and bedroom windows, and it is also close to the Brühl platform and the princely column map. We are a family of three, a couple with a nine-year-old child, the hotel fee is paid through Ctrip in advance, the child does not have an extra bed, and an extra 5 euros per night will be charged when checking in. It feels that European double beds are made of two single beds. The overall feeling of staying in was good, the second and third photos were taken hurriedly and unclearly. There is a dedicated living room, which is very convenient for watching TV and eating. The kitchen and toilet are not photographed. The kitchen does not have an oven and has an electric stove. The toilet is not small, there is a washing machine, but we haven't used it.
