They gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room, which was a nice surprise. The subway is only a 10-minute walk away, which is super convenient. It's great that we could cook our own meals, and the cleaning staff came to tidy up every day. The breakfast spread was quite generous. We even got little gifts when we checked in and out at the front desk, and they gave us mugwort for Dragon Boat Festival! Such a thoughtful touch.

Cleanliness: Decent. The floor still felt a little dusty and dirty. The bed sheet has afew strands of hair. Otherwise, the room is relatively clean Location: It’s is two metro stops from the Wuxi railway station and a few stops from afew famous places in Wuxi. The location is great. However, if you are carrying a large luggage, do not follow blindly the map app. Exit 14 from 三阳广场 (Sanyang plaza) metro is the closest. However, there will be a flight of stairs to climb if the escalator is not working. However, it is only 1/3 of the flight of stairs to climb compared to exit 19B. If you do not want to climb stairs, I recommend going through exit 20A and come out of Suning Plaza Mall and cross diagonally to 锡上MoMo mall where the hotel is. The escalator at exit 20A is usually working. Service: We arrived earlier than the check in timing. Our original room wasn’t ready so they upgraded us to the one on a higher level from level 24 to 54. They kindly told us where the amenities are. They even helped to bring our luggage from our room to their office to help us store as we were going to visit another street during the checkout time before coming back. Amenities: The bed was too hard and the pillow is too soft, making it difficult for both of us to sleep. The TV was quite big and there is vip subscription for some Chinese streaming apps which allows my friend to watch her favourite drama series. There is a washing machine which has a dryer function that allows us to wash and dry our clothes within a day. The room is a smart room however it takes a while to get used to the control. Once you are used to it, it makes things more convenient. Overall, I generally enjoyed my stay with my friend even though it was only for a night. If the bed and cleanliness could be improved, I think it would be perfect.

Traveling with kids during spring break, this Holiday Inn Express was perfectly located. It's not far from the attractions, and right next to MixC shopping mall and the subway station, making getting around super convenient. Before check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a family room, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was huge, with two separate bedrooms, each with a large bed, offering great privacy. Excellent value for money!

The room is clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The location is splendid as it is located right beside Times Square and the IFS tower. The reception was very helpful with all the request made and is available 24/7. Would definitely recommend this place for families travelling to Suzhou.

The 360-degree panoramic lake view is absolutely stunning, with Dong Tai Lake right downstairs – a true frontline lake view room. You can catch a gorgeous sunrise in the morning and a romantic sunset in the evening. The scenery is both therapeutic and picture-perfect. Although the hotel decor is a few years old, there are absolutely no unpleasant odors, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. It's about 2km from the subway station, so getting around is convenient. The price is very affordable, offering excellent value for money. It's definitely my top choice for a relaxing getaway!

This stay exceeded my expectations, and I really have to praise the hotel. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, checked me in quickly, and even proactively informed me about the elevators, breakfast, and local transportation routes – the attention to detail was excellent. The room was spotless, with no stains on the floor or in the bathroom, and the bedding was soft and fluffy, making it easy to relax almost instantly. The room had good natural light and ventilation, and the soundproofing was effective, making it exceptionally quiet at night with no hallway noise audible. The toiletries were of good quality, the hot water was stable and plentiful, and the air conditioning adjusted sensitively. The self-service breakfast offered a rich variety, including meat, vegetables, pastries, fruits, and drinks, all with a mild and pleasant taste. The public areas were clean and elegant, and elevator wait times were short. The location is convenient for getting around, whether by taxi or for shopping. Overall, the value for money is excellent, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the environment is comfortable and pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and highly recommend it to friends traveling here.

A couple of days ago, we checked into Oakwood Hotel & Residence Suzhou at around 11 p.m., so we missed the beautiful lake view. The apartment was spacious, and the front desk staff were kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, when we entered the room, we noticed a strong musty smell coming from the carpet. There were many visible stains, and some areas looked worn and dark. After such a long trip, this was disappointing. If we hadn’t arrived so late, we probably would have asked for a different room. I hope someone from the hotel can take a look at the carpet in this room. If it can’t be cleaned properly, I believe replacing it or even removing it would make the room feel much cleaner and more comfortable. The location, apartment, and staff are all wonderful, and updating the carpet would bring the room up to the same high standard.

The location is fantastic, right in the city center at Sanyang Plaza. It's incredibly convenient with a metro station and commercial hub just downstairs. The room was spacious and the air conditioning was excellent. The views were expansive and the city lights were beautiful. The front desk staff were all very friendly and the cleaning ladies always greeted us warmly. Breakfast was delicious and high quality, offering both international standards and local flavors. Overall, it was an extremely good value for money experience. My only minor complaint is that the duvet was a bit thin, especially since the air conditioning worked so well!

This hotel is located on a river island with excellent greenery. The rooms are well-maintained with a simple yet elegant design. For the same price, you get a much larger one-bedroom unit than a standard hotel room. Except for the lack of public areas, the cleanliness, service, and facilities are on par with a hotel. There's a shopping mall right next door, which makes for a very pleasant stay. My husband especially loved the gym, and the kids' club on the second floor is perfect for toddlers. My only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast quality.

This homestay experience is really great! As a person who wakes up easily, I slept very soundly here. The room has excellent soundproofing and the curtains have strong light-blocking capabilities. The hygiene is impeccable, it is super clean. Moreover, the housekeeper's service attitude is very good, and she can help solve any problems quickly. This B&B is really worth recommending! The room is even better than it looks in the photos, with a reasonable layout, new facilities and excellent hygiene. The community is well managed and very quiet at night. Especially the pillows, very comfortable to sleep on. The landlord is also very nice and replies immediately every time I contact him. Will come again next time.
