The stay in the hotel was wonderful - the grounds are lovely with a very relaxed and happy feel to the whole place and the staff were all very friendly. We just had room and breakfast so didn't eat that much in the hotel but all the food that we had was excellent. The rooms were were excellent - a little bit tired in some parts, but then that's the case for every big hotel that i've stayed in and they were well cleaned every day. The public areas were all well maintained and cleaned. There is a bit of a hike down the stairs to the attached beach club (Cocos) but there is a shuttle bus if you don't feel up to it. I'd 100% go back there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends

When I arrived in my room, the first thing I said was, what a beautiful and spacious suite! I didn’t use the living room side at all, other than to store my backpacks on the dining room table. The bedroom was nice, and the bed was decent. The bathroom had a nice design and although it took some time for the hot water from the sink faucet to heat up, the shower hot water did not heat up at all, so my shower was an uncomfortable cool temperature water. The air conditioner worked well, and the property was extremely quiet at night, which I very much appreciated. The pool and lounge area looked to be relaxing, and was quiet while I was there. The only things I did not like, was housekeeping came into my room even though I had the sign on the door knob stating do not disturb, so I didn’t appreciate my sleepwear being folded and placed on my dirty suitcase. The other thing was, the small cockroach I found under my pillow trying to scurry away before disposing of it, then the spider in my bed the day of packing that I needed to eliminate to ensure no hitchhikers back home.

I had a basic simple room facing the pool, it was quiet, I slept well. Room had its basic amenities, a double sized bed, a mounted TV, AC, a ceiling fan, a table two chairs, a fridge, a safety box, sink, a small hair dryer. The room is just right for one or two persons. The pool is pretty and inviting. The front desk reception, housekeepers, and restaurant employees were all friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, shops, and the beach is right across the street. Great location for sure!

Just loved staying at this small hotel - the ambience and garden is nothing short of stunning. The delightful 'Angie' is an absolutely charming host, & her love of art & plants has created a garden and atmosphere that is truly magical. The hotel is one street away from some excellent restaurants (Blvd Benito Juarez) and a short 2 min walk down to Carrizalillo beach which is reached by some 100 steps. This is a small bay, safe to swim with some lovely little beach restaurants and definitely the prettiest beach in PE. Some truly amazing things we did- go out at 7 am with Shaun +52 1 954 110 0562 (whats ap) & his boat the 'Milagros' - we swum with 2000 spinner dolphins which was TRULY AMAZING, and saw humpback whales. We also went out with bird watcher Ulysses to Lagoona Manaialdepec in 'La Puesta del Sol' '+52 1 954 124 7001 (Whats ap) to see INCREDIBLE mangrove and the most extraordinary range of birds coming back to roost from black ibis, frigates, vermillion flycatchers, broad billed herons ++. We were blown away by what we saw. We also went to the turtle project at Playa Pacocho in PE. If you go at 5pm, you can support this fantastic project and release a hatchling. We've had great food, and an exceptionally chilled time The beaches are really clean, and we've been blown away by how much the local people are trying to care for their environment. And above all how lovely the Mexican's are. Thank you Angie for a great stay in your beautiful hotel.

This so-called 4-star-hotel is totally overrated - the staff is very kind, but the paid breakfast is less then you'll get on an airplane, it's not more than a starter. You'll get no juice if you already took 3 tiny pieces of fruit. Or you'll get one glass of cheap juice from concentrate (not even real juice in a 4-star hotel!), but then no fruit. And don't ask for a second small glass of juice - you won't get it, you already had one. You can choose only one tiny meal, and nothing more. But no extras like chicken or so. Just tacos with a sauce on it. That's it. After this breakfast, you have to go to another place, because you'll be hungry as before. I'm staying in hotels around the world most of the year, but this breakfast is one of the worst I've ever got. If I were here on vacation, I would cancel right away and change my stay. The rooms are big but totally basic - I wonder how they got 4 stars - not even a fridge or a water cooker in the room. If you want more water than provided in the room, you have to pay. Sorry, this is 4 stars and we talk about water!! Never experienced this before, and this is not my first time in Mexico. They just want you to pay for everything. In the morning I wake up because the laundry is in front of my window. The view outside the window is a white wall. You will not get a good sleep here, because you hear EVERYTHING that happens in this hoteI. I would not recommend this stay at all for vacation, in a hostel I would feel more welcome. Read the other reviews - I'm not the only one with this terrible experience here, especially regarding the breakfast. We kindly told them our problems with the breakfast, but they are not willing at all to improve their service. Today at breakfast I kindly asked again: ”I believe it's not possible to get a second glass of juice?” - The answer: ”no, not possible, just one”. If it wouldn't be so horrible here, I would have to laugh. The pictures provided by the hotel are far away from reality.
