It is estimated that there are nearly ten kinds of bread. The gym has two treadmills, some equipment, a large space and a large mirror, suitable for free practice or yoga 🧘‍♀️! I spent 4 nights at this hotel at the end of a 3 month long trip around Africa. The room itself was fine - small, but clean and comfortable. In the spirit of Christmas, I wanted to thank the housekeeping and laundry staff, so I left a big tip when I left, but I wonder if it got to the people I had intended to receive it. The menu is not so amazing. It was almost identical to the menu offered at the Sunbird in Blantyre, which makes sense, but was ultimately disappointing because it really lacks variety. The open area adjacent to reception seems awkward to me - tables randomly out of place, chairs nonexistent - like they had an event and just never cleaned up. It was like that the whole time. It could be a nice place to sit and work if it were set up properly. The staff are great, I enjoyed them all. One complaint was I sent out a very small bit of laundry for washing at 10am one day. It was returned to me only after inquiring twice as to when it would be ready - TWO DAYS later and at 7:30am (while I was still asleep). That was a bit irritating. At any rate, it's in a good, walkable location and that is convenient. However, for the price, I think I'll opt to go back to Imperial which is just nearby.
