Having a long stay at my favourite Hotel in Santo Domingo. Impecable throughout!!!! Beautiful penthouse with jacuzzi!!!! Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, sleep like a princess. Amazing. I just love it here!!!! Wonderful room service and staff always willing to help!!! Special thanks to Jordi, this guy is everywhere!!!!! Buen servicio, buen desayuno,amabilidad del personal excelente ubicación . Hotel es precioso en si mismo. La única pega que le pongo es la falta de iluminación en la habitación. De todas formas es un hotel absolutamente recomendable si quieres hospedarte en el casco ciego de Santo Domingo.

It had been over 5 years since my last visit and now will be returning frequently and back to only this hotel. The services were all excellent. From the moment I needed to chat while delayed and was in need of urgent services prior to check-in, to my 1am check-in, room services, restaurant dining with local colleagues, on-site pre-trip covid testing services, everything that I wanted and needed was made available and with a smile. Everyone is so pleasant and courteous. Love the staff and services here - the rooms were very clean and comfortable as well of course. Oh and I left something in my room which I realized after returning home and it was found by housekeeping and mailed to my house! THANK YOU TEAM JW MARRIOTT SANTO DOMINGO!!!

The rooms were small but nice and very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is great as a departure point for exploring the Zona Colonial, and our room on the third floor was surprisingly quiet above the hustle and bustle of the street. Sweet little balcony too. Decent restaurant and coffee shop on the ground level (unfortunately, with a cigar factory right next door), and several excellent restaurants close by (Jalao and Buche are both highly recommended). This is not a place of great luxury, but the facility was just fine, with a great location at a reasonable price.

I always love staying at El embajador for the staff. They feel like family, and they all treat you with love and respect. Lucy, the chef on the 7th floor deserves a Michelin star. Years apart from visits she is able to prepare the same delectable dish with the exact unwavering quality of a 5-star establishment. Marty and Yonatan are incredible servers, they will always try to accommodate you with the same love and warmth of family. Carlos Rodriguez the bellhop on the first floor is also great. He is always super friendly and genuine, this is the best staff ever. You will feel like you are staying at your new home.

I had a wonderful stay, the concierge, Fanyelis and housekeeper Olga did an excellent job of helping my sisters surprise me! I truly appreciated it! Alexis was also great in helping us cross the busy street and even giving walking directions to local places. The pool area was wonderful not huge but great for the space and a lot of seating available.
