A great place to chill, especially good for parking your hire car, securely. Good size studio with all the basic necessities. Only criticsim is that the hot water takes too long to heat up. As a solo travellor it can be annoying when kids start kicking balls aong the corridor. If solo maybe ask to be put in a quiet area away from noisy people. Good size balcony, very clean kitchen, massive fridge. Overall place to stay with a local shop and restaurant.

Breakfast super buffet everything delicious, and corresponds to the price-performance ratio, for dinner a restaurant VIVA CYPRUS is very RECOMMENDED nearby. Great location. In Paphos the buses are bad, please rent a car immediately, it's cheap 10-20 €/day... the taxis are expensive and they screw every pig... So please rent a car. Staff: I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are the best... Always helpful and very human... My wife did not feel well during the holiday and went to the hospital. They allowed me to take breakfast to go for my wife and a delivery box prepared for this... That was really great. Cons : the hotel is a bit old and the facilities need to be updated but that's easily ignored when you have such a great friendly staff. Sauna against 7€ extra which is also disadvantageous in my opinion. So in a big goose the hotel is very good and I book there again and again 😁. Greetings from Chaban family

I feel I need to write a positive review counteracting all the bad ones. We have been to this hotel twice now, in two different years, because that is how satisfied we were. YES this is a budget hotel and it is very cheap so do not expect luxury or daily room service. However, the room is clean, everything works, the terrace is lovely for breakfast or drying your swimsuit, you can prepare small meals in the kitchen, and you can set the temperature on the AC, and shut the blinds for sleep even during daytime. What more do you possibly need? :) Of course if you go to Cyprus to lounge in your hotel room all day, you won't be that happy here but we book a hotel to sleep, shower, refresh and recharge before our next adventure and this is perfect for it. Will come again the next time we come to Paphos. Walking distance from the sea coast and Kato paphos, outside of the loud touristy zone. This is important for me as I am a light sleeper but the surroundings of Crystallo are always quiet. The hotel helps you book a rental car.

It is recommended that the hotel be renamed Sunset Beach Hotel, because the best experience to stay here is to walk to Faro Beach for a sunset every five minutes at dusk. The balcony on the third floor has a great view and can be seen. The experience in the public areas of the hotel is better than in the rooms. The design in the rooms is OK, it is very clean, and the bathroom has some smell at the beginning. The Chinese shower gel box in the shower feels falling at any time.

The hotel is located near the attractions, it is convenient to visit the attractions, it is recommended, there is ample parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving tourists, but the heating is not warm, the breakfast is affordable and delicious, and the value for money

We really enjoyed our stay at the basilica resort. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children aged 11, 11 and 14. Food- We went all inclusive. There was so much choice available at every meal and it tasted amazing! The area was kept very clean and tidy. The restaurant is located next to the pool with some outdoor seating and some indoor although this would benefit from aircon/fans inside but the doors were kept open which helped. The outdoor is shaded by some trees. Drinks- There was a selection of drinks included in the alcoholic and none alcoholic AI options. Some of the alcohol you needed to pay extra for but there was plenty of choice to not need to do this. There was a cocktail of the day included also. As this hotel was fairly quiet we found we didn't have to queue behind more than 1 person. Room- we stayed in a 2 bed appartment in Thalia that slept 5. Clean and basic. There were 2 twin bedrooms and a sofa in the open lounge/kitchen for the 5th person. I thought this would be a sofa bed but this was just a sofa. My daughter slept on it and said she was comfy enough. There was kitchen facilities including a kettle and microwave but we didn't need to use these. Our appartment had the English 3 pin plug sockets so we didn't need to use our adaptors. However the kettle and microwave had the 2 pins, reception gave me a 2 pin adaptor to use but I had to ask for this. I had access to a hairdryer to use but I didn't feel happy with how there was electrical tape covering some areas where this had been connected to the holder. They replaced this for me with a better one. Air conditioning was available in the 2 bedrooms and living area. The 2nd bedroom leaked and was reported but leaked again after someone attended to it. I only reported this again on checkout as our 2 boys wernt bothered for having this on. The bathroom had a bath and a shower and we had a balcony over looking the restaurant/entertainment. We thought we would be kept awake by night drinkers/entertainment but this wasn't the case. Entertainment- The area is the same used for dining. There is a very small stage outside. Each evening except Sunday there was a singer/act on. Starting approx 7pm and finishing around 9-9.30. These included singers, dancers, magician. We found that there wasn't many people around at this time (maybe 12 tables of people whilst entertainment was on) so by 11pm most people had gone. Last serving for AI was 22.50. We really enjoyed the evening set up as it was nice and peaceful and meant we could sit and talk as a family/play cards and go to bed at a decent hour since our room over looked this area. Pool- The pool is located at the back of the appartments and is surrounded by greenery so is very private from those not staying at Basilica. It is only over looked by a selection of appartments due to the set up of the resort. The pool was lovely and clean and very refeshing. The 30 degree temperature of the weather each day meant that the pool was a lovely temp.
