My wife and I have just had four nights at Xanadu. We were on the 16th floor of the East Tower and we could see all the way to Coolangatta and up the the Spit and beyond. The unit was very comfortable and very clean. One of the best for cleanliness I have seen in a long time. The position is perfect as you can walk everywhere - surf club, beach, yacht club, Tedder avenue, and further if you are so inclined. The light rail is also not far away should you want to use it. The building is well maintained and the gardens neat and tidy. Management have their eye on the ball and are doing a great job. Hard to beat this place. We will definitely come back. Cheers.

Pacific Views Resort, Unit 1538: Pros: 1. Nice, quiet location across the street from the beach and just a short 5-minute walk to Tedder Ave and 10-minute walk to the tram. 2. Great, friendly, and helpful staff. Craig & Renee are so great! 3. Ocean views. 4. Washer/dryer in-unit with detergent. 5. Full kitchen with dishware, glasses, utensils, etc. 6. Large, very spacious units. 7. Cafe and a 24hr 7-11 store are just steps away. 8. Accomodated my requests for an early checkin and late checkout. 9. No housekeeping, which I like since it increases privacy and reduces the risk of theft. Supplies are available from reception, if needed. 10. Bus stop located just across the street. 11. Easy on-site and street parking. 12. Good water pressure and super hot water, if you want it! Cons: 1. Wifi is very slow/unreliable. 2. Lots of nearby buildings restrict unit privacy, so I kept most of the window shades down during my stay. 3. Random stains on the carpet, furniture, shades, etc. 4. Some patio funiture is falling apart and should be replaced or removed.

What a fantastic experience. Our Room was beautiful and well appointed. Great views of the ocean and the river as well as the marina. While we didnt have a balcony facing the water we had amazing over 180 degree views with fantastic sunsets over the mountains. Close to everything 8 mins from Tedder Ave and across the road was the Main Beach Patrolled Surf Beach. The staff are great, rooms very clean and gardens well kept. The pool area is fantastic great for BBQs and is very private. Couldnt recommend enough one of the best accommodation we have staying in in some time.

Oscar on Main is in a great area, close to some terrific restaurants & cafes. Especially Hot Shott cafe,(must do for breakfast) Just a short stroll to the beach. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on Level 7, which was well appointed with modern furniture, light, bright, airy & clean. Our apartment had a big balcony, with ocean views. The rate is very competitive, and this is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it won’t be the last. The reception staff were all lovely to deal with.

We have stayed off and on at The Crest for the last 6 months for sporting reasons . The room was always spotless and the friendly staff were amazing from the minute you got there until you left . They would go over and above for whatever we needed done . I have a daughter with brain damage who can be hard to handle at times but the staff were incredible to her and she loved being there . The position in Main beach was so handy to all shops and it has great facilities . I would recommend this resort to anyone and we will be back . Russell

We had a fabulous stay here. The place was clean, tidy, modern, roomy, close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. We had a washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen, minus some scissors in the kitchen was my only kibble. Outdoor pool, spa, parking. What more do you need.
