Horrible stay here, sharing room and no space for my luggage.

Great place to stay! Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

The boss will make free breakfast every morning and provide it from 7:00 to 9:00. Then the boss also has a bathhouse. If the guests staying here want to go, he will take them there for free at 9 o'clock every night and bring them back at 10 o'clock. Chai Chai It’s so cute, all I can say is that I love it so much 😭 I highly recommend it!

The B&B has very cute dogs, the service staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is good. There are many attractions nearby. Many foreigners will stay here. It is recommended for those who travel alone.

It is a short walk from Higashiyama subway station, or if you take the city bus, take route 5 and get off at Jingumichi, and it's about a 5-minute walk. The accommodation was converted from a townhouse. The owner, Shiba, is a very friendly and interesting person. I stayed in a twin room and it was very comfortable. Also worth mentioning is the breakfast, which is made by the owner himself. Many foreign travelers stay at the inn, so you can eat a variety of dishes. I had a very delicious takikomi gohan (rice with seasoning). There was a wide variety of fruits, which made me feel happy from the morning. The mascot dog, Jiro, was also cute. I would like to stay here again.

The hotel is very convenient in terms of environment. It is only 5 minutes away from Higashiyama Subway Station and very close to the scenic spots Heian Jingu Shrine, Nanzenji Temple and Kiyomizudera Temple. Moreover, the hotel has a beautiful environment and is very quiet. Even if you don't want to travel far, you can go shopping at the convenience store opposite the hotel and then go back to the hotel garden to rest. There is also an Akita dog in the hotel? 😂 The clerk's service is very good, he can easily check information about nearby and even other cities, and he provides a good breakfast. The hotel facilities are sufficient, and you can use laundry + drying services for only ¥300

Warm, quiet and convenient!

Stayed for a few nights, coming back late at night and leaving early in the mornings. The private room was clean and the shared areas and bathrooms were also clean. I did wish the private room had a lockable door, but lockers are provided for free. The hostel was nice and quiet at night and I didn't wake to loud noise while sleeping. Necessities for shower are provided and towels can be rented cheaply if desired. I did wish the water got a little bit hotter, but it was warm and the pressure was good. Breakfast was provided, and although we didn't partake as we left early each day, it looked very delicious and made with care. There were many options available. The dog is very cute and friendly, always greeting us upon arrival back to the place. The location is really great, not far from two of the station exits (one has an elevator, and it is a minute or two longer from that exit to the place, but totally convenient when you have bags). There is a lot of temples and other historical places nearby, so it's a great location for sightseeing. There is also plenty of food options nearby and a convenience store right across the street.

Really nice place to stay in Kyoto there's a warm feeling inside and the owner, her daughter and the guests are very welcoming. It easy to meet new people here as well. The guest house is in a traditional house with comfy beds and perfect location. The owner helps you if you need recommendations. Can't recommend this place enough. Additionally the breakfast was amazing (oishi).

Had a great stay at a perfekt location, wonderful host and of course Jiro the dog 😊
