The location wasn’t great as not close to any metros or public transport. The room was dirty and the bathroom stunk really bad, and had severe mould (see pictures). This is dangerous and shouldn’t be allowed. Aircon didn’t work properly and also had mould on. Bedding was dirty, and there was dirt all along the side of the bed. Washing machines didn’t work, overall not a great experience.

Room sizes are good. There are 4 bunk beds and there’s enough space to hace your luggage around. This place needs maintenance. Shower didn’t work properly and the dryer didn’t work. There was another one in the room meaning they know the one in the shower doesn’t work and just haven’t been bothered to replace it. It’s a smoking hotel, bear in mind that even when it’s not permitted in dorms it still smells like cigarette. There are Chinese girls living permanently here which means a lot of dirty clothes lying around with their consequence bad smell, it would be good if once in a while they emptied the room to deep clean, there are things laying around that I am not sure belong to anyone still staying there. The cleaning lady is super nice.

Rude male staff. I spoke in Chinese to him and he acted annoyed and dismissive at my questions. I can't imagine what that interaction would have looked like in English. So much for an international hostel next to a university. Room stunk like a gym's changing room and there was someone living there long term (4 person room). Bathroom was flooded, which no wonder, considering the fact the shower door had been removed and placed next to the toilet (see pics). Upper benk has a curtain but no ceiling, so bring an eye mask or you won't sleep. Noisy and inconsiderate guests, eating spicy and smelly food at midnight (put up a sign discouraging this behaviour, please). At least the sheets were clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Booked 2 nights, cancelled the second one and checked out early since I couldn't sleep. On the upside, there's very nice and cheap restaurants around since this is a student area. For 12$ a night skip this one and spend and extra 8 to get a private room in a better location.

its not clean. the bed its not comfortable. i don't like the location. the toilet is not clean at all.

This hotel/hostel is super convenient if you plan to travel around the city, rooms always clean, the people who work there very accesible, easy to get to metro.

Nice and calm hostel, the staff doesn’t really speak English but you can easily communicate nowadays with translators.

Good location, in market area , metro is near by , public transport is well connected

Staff and other occupants were very friendly and welcoming. The dorm had 6 beds and all were quiet and respectful. The rubbish bins are emptied everyday. The wifi is fast. There was noise from the neighbouring building during the night, but that's no one's fault at the hostel.

Clean and cheap hotel. Many eateries along the street near hotel night and day. There is only one bus from the train station. Recommended if you are on budget

Scuffed. The top bunk isn’t completely blacked out so there is light coming through.

Located not far from the city centre. Very nice affordable rooms.

Good stay. Came here for Canton Fair. Staff is cooperative.

Staff is amazing. You have to use WeChat to communicate.
